Stealth Nerf to Conjurer/ White Mage?

I've done the Steropes Fate several times. It used to be if I did my job, I'd get experience for it. Heal and stoneskin the melee, raise the fallen. I noticed it in Nothern Thanalan last night, I was getting a whopping 1100 on average in FATE using this system. Today, I did it in Steropes and got 2700. Usually I get around 12K on that FATE.

So I guess we are Stone II and that's it for FATE grinding?

That's pretty much it :/ I spent over half the fate raising dead people and keeping them alive, ended up only getting bronze.

It's randomly happened to me on numerous fates. It's hard to predict, and I don't know what causes it. Sometimes healing gives me full exp, sometimes I get nothing. That's why I always spend half my time dpsing and half healing... only way to ensure I get rewarded properly.

For me, as long as I hit one fate monster my healing from then on counts towards my reward. It seems to me that your participation in the fate isn't always activated right away from healing.

Hypothesis: A person who is raised has become "out of combat" (mobs turn from red to yellow and go back their own way). Therefore, any healing done on them after their death, and until they re-engage the ennemy would not be counted as a participation in the FATE.

I am no expert on this, so I have no idea how likely it is, but I have seen this kind of mechanics in a previous MMO. Does it seem like a possible explanation to you, who are used to healing in FATEs?

Fates have always been pretty broken as a whm unless you dps. I try and heal whoever might be tanking but half the time when people are hopping/running about for no reason i just give up.

I've had that happen to me while leveling up my healers, I just always began to try to keep something on the boss at all times like aero or bio.

Best would be to do a macro that heal and do dmg

/wait 1
/action Cure <tt>

Yep, it's Fubar.
I just tanked Ulhuadshi for the duration of the FATE in a sync down, ran out of MP spamming Stone II and I still didn't cap the FATE.

Have to tag a few mobs, that' alone will usually get you gold. Spam holy, tag with aero, then heal and raise.
