As you're leveling the Weaver class, you shoudl be watching the market board. The way I leveled is I would do both leve's for getting experience but then I would single-craft each piece of crafting armor and gathering armor to sell on market. I would make sure it was HQ even if I had to pay a little more upfront in mats. I can make roughly 100,000 a day just from making lower tierd DoH/DoF gear and selling it. The DoW/M gear is pretty terrible and doesn't sell for much but crafter gear. Theres your money until you can 2star.

    Don't ask what I make/sell to get 100k a day cause I aint tellin!

    Don't buy diremite.
If you cant farm it, keep grinding cotton.

You will get over 15K per turn in for the cotton and if you do that from 20 to 30 you will get diremite in the rewards and will be able to push a few velveteen turn in points to 35. At 35 you are set to work on Linen.

It will take a bit more work but using diremite webs to keep people over a barrel is only working because people let it.

I refuse to buy diremite webs, I refuse to buy snurble tufts and I refused to buy fleece. If they can get it, I can get it.

So, HQ low level crafting gear? I'll try.
I'm trying to gather on my own everything I can, but Diremite webs can't be gathered, you can just drop them from those 8 Banemites in North Shroud, which is reeeeeeaaaaaaally loong. Or you can get those 4 from the leve while using 12 of them to craft the Velveteen Sarouels you need to give to complete it.
I'm starting to HATE the word "Velveteen".
Now I hitted lv30 and I have 9000 gil more or less. I had to buy Flax for the Linen Yarn because I'm botanist lv6 and Flax is lv31 I think.
I can easily HQ any Cotton gear, do you think I can sell that?

There are a LOT of Banemites in North Shroud. They are on both sides of Fallgourd Float. Look around.

The tough thing about North Shroud is that they are heavily farmed. Its near impossible holding a spot here for more than 30 minutes without another player coming along and following you to mark the mobs and steal your loot.

I just skipped all the velvet recipes and sold the velvet cloth. Depending on the price on your server, it might be an option to just purchase the dew thread and make the cloth. You can just get cotton yarn from the Alchemist Guild

On my server dew thread costs about the same as the web, excluding shards. That way, you save a step and save some shards. Shards aren't cheap, and can really add up at the higher recipes. When I was selling, cloth was going for two to three times the cost of dew thread. If your sever is anything like mind, you can probably make 30k on a stack of 10 or 15 cloth. Double profit in less than half the time (no farming or competing with other farmers).

Not sure how you have so little gil. You've completed the storyline right? As a WHM with Holy you can mass farm any of the droppable items for massive amounts of loot. Fleece is a good one, not too heavily farmed. There are a few sneaky spots that the sheep spawn. Gather them all up with Aero and Holy them down. Pick up mining and farm shards. People are lazy and don't want to do this. If you have the patience you can make easily 50k gil per hour farming shards.

On my server Lightning shards are most expensive at 70-100 gil per shard. At level 1 you should be able to farm maybe 200-300 per hour.
Watch the cotton prices of crafting gear. See if there are any pieces that are work month and then price out cost of shards and other mats to see if its profitable.

On Ragnarok shards are all around 25 gil each, earth ones are 40, so even Cordial+Byregot's Ward with the Miner Lightning shards aren't a good gil solution.
I'm now selling HQ Cotton Kurtas but they make 2500 each, so not too much.
I completed the main story but back then I was too lazy to walk so I spent nearly everything in teleports XD
I twice farmed Diremite webs and it's reeeally long and boring, you get 2 or 3 every 10 Banemites you kill.
I'm also a little poor in Lightning shards because lv30 Weaver recipes consume 4-6 each.
I have the best gear I can, I managed to make a lv27 HQ Coatee of Crafting as lv30 Weaver but now I bought the Twin Adder's Coatee and melded the HQ one as Materia in the shoes.
I can easily HQ Cotton recipes with normal materials so I can Quick Synthesize stacks of Cotton Yarn and Undyed Cotton Cloth, so I'm working on HQ Cotton gear to make gil.
    Any other suggestion about gil?

Go to Quarrymill and check out the level 20 leves there. One asks you to make Cotton Dress Gloves and one asks you to make Cotton Coifs of Gathering. Both of these leves can reward you with 10 diremite webs upon completion (occasionally they will reward crystals instead) and both can be completed with the cotton boils purchased from the guild vendor and the appropriate shards. The Cotton Coifs of Gathering leve can be completed 3 times over the span of one leve allowance, making it an extremely efficient way of accumulating Diremite Webs. These are not terrbile exp up until level 30 either, since you should be able to HQ everything fairly easily.

You can also take a break and level your Botanist a bit to 31 so you can start collecting Flax. It is not that time-intensive now after the 2.05 hotfix, and having access to unlimited, free Flax will essentially allow you to bypass both the Velveteen and Fleece stages of Weaver (with a few exceptions, such as the job quests that require you to make things out of Wool).

You can sell anything if you price it correctly. Research your markets to see if there are any cotton goods that are in short supply. Concentrate the lowest 2 or 3 and make some HQ gear from those. Then look at the history of sales for the items you want to put up for sale and figure out a price based on that, along with what the other people are selling the item for currently.
