I already said, I have been into two coil groups already and both them have a meele. If a raid leader decides not to take meele for coil, you might as well dont bother to go, because he doesnt know what he is doing.

You do not represents every single Meele DD. You may have issue finding a coil group, but that are many other factors that is probably involving you (that people dont want to bring you).

What are all these MMOs where melee is terrible, the last three MMOs I've played have been the total opposite:

- LOTRO, when I played this champion (melee warrior type class) was the most in demand DPS in most cases, because it had the best sustained single target & AOE DPS, plus an interrupt on a short cooldown.

- GW2 - look how in demand warriors and guardians are compared to engineers, rangers and necros.

- Rift, when I played, warrior was highest DPS aside from the odd really unfriendly melee boss, they were also the best tank.

Yes, as melee DD. What do I see in clan chat or in Mordhona chat- Coil needs healer, Coils need tank, blm, bard... I dont see "Coil needs drg (monk)

Please, lets discuss this meleeDD problem, pals- it is not only my personal problem. MAybe developers will make something

Have you ever considered making a group yourself? novel concept is the raid leading stuff, its most definitely worth a try ^^ ever since i started leading stuff all the way back in FFXI i've never looked back

Hmm as it has been awhile since I did the classes and jobs and cant remember exactly what is cross classed for skills, lets start by pointing out a few things from your profile as possible reasons you maybe having issue's w coil groups.

Marauder is lvl 12, lancer is level 34 and Archer is level 6, with 1 job at 50 which is pug/mnk. Cant see your gear due to you being on goldsmith. So basicly (as I said I cant remember at what level and or what cross class abilities you can use on your job off the top of my head) maybe you need to look into what class skills and level of these class skills so that you can use them on your monk.

Why change anything?

I play a healer. I play it because it is fun to play and I am a healer in every MMO I play. Point blank Healer is NOT for everyone.

I also tried Tank . . . I sucked. Tank does not suck. I as a player sucked at it. Tanks are hard to play, but that is what makes them fun for so many people is the challenge. People are constantly telling me Healer is hard to play. For me it is easy, but that is because i love the job and have experience in it.

Where this thread is going is people are going to end up wanting GW2 style gameplay where everyone can do everything. To me that rips away diversity and teamplay.

I have never played an MMO where healers and tanks equaled the amount of DPS classes. This will be no different and i am okay with that. You choose your job, and you go with it. This includes the benefits and drawbacks. The only reason there are so many DPS classes in every MMO is because it is so simple to play and people want an easy character to play. This leaves tanking and healing to those who do NOT want an easy character to play. If healing were so easy that even a DPS player could play it, that would actually ruin the fun for me.

MMOs are social games at their core. Make some friends that are tanks and healers, then problem solved. Or, you know, play one yourself.

No DRG for party, camp spot site with 30 dmg, but is it for 20 like 30 dmg when you no hit be it for dd, for 30 dmg instead? or half is 10 for 20 dmg?

u take 20 dmg no shooting for 30 dmg if drg, so divide 2 u dont shoot, u get 10 but for DRG it no 30, so 20 would be for DRG if u werent a RNG?

U have 20 dmg, u shoot 30 dmg, but if ur not RNG, u want HALF, with no time reload, so u get 10. but, BUT, u want no DRG since ur shooting, so its 30 dmg or 10?

I took taken 20 dmg, but for RNG 30 dmg, so if u start from camp u want HALF for DRG, so 10, but if I attack FIRST, do get I 30 dmg or 20 ?
