Greetings... Oh... Im tired of being DD- Im monk. Why tired? Always healers and tanks are in need- noone need DD, especialy monk or dragoon. Especialy in Coil. You can advise to me to change class- that is nice, but I dont want. I like monk, but I cannot find group to Coil in my clan, in Mordhona. Nowhere- tanks, healers and Rdd are in need- noone like melee DD. So, I think... dear SE- can you change these master law of all MMORPG- to make melee DD here, in FF, much more valuable. I dont know how you will do this, but please, make something(

SE could make DD less attractive and more tedious to play so more people will roll tanks and healer.

They are already nerfing BRD and buffing DRG in 2.1. Tanks and healers will always be in demand because players tend to prefer big numbers and spiky outfits to battle management frustrations and "OMG u suk hlr go kill urslf".

Maybe make some special law- 8raid must have at least 1 melee DD?

And greatest fail of Coil- very hard for melees because of very hard round Aoe's. That is why people dont want to play melee dd- very hard. Much more easier to stay far- safe, easy. I think, that Coil must be redisigned

It would help if they didn't put in boss encounters with constant unavoidable melee range DoT (ADS). Radial AOEs are annoying too, but are only a minor hit to DPS. The planned adjustments in 2.1 should hopefully help.

(edit: I guess maybe I don't have anything to compare it to, I can see it would be easier to go on ranged job, but dodging keeps it fun! )
