Weaver lv50, Vanya for my WHM, advice?

I'm planning on getting lv50 WVR to make Vanya healing HQ gear on my own.
So I need some advice about how do I proceed to get those remaining 25 levels (I'm already lv25 WVR) and, above all, which cross-class skills I need to maximise my level up speed.
I want to get lv50 WVR really as soon as possible, so any advice would be great
P.S.: right now I'm lv25 Weaver, lv15 Leatherworker and the rest is under lv5.

Setting leveling speed aside... you're going to have extreme difficulty HQing 2-star recipes if WVR is your only 50.

Triple turn in Levequests at this point.

    http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-Turn-in-Leves

It means 9 of the requested item, HQ ideally.

Right now you are looking at
3 Velveteen Sarouel of Gathering - 11115 xp, 488 gil

That's 100K per turn in if 9 HQ

Careful Synthesis II you get at 50 and for leveling other classes, that and Steady Hand II (Culinarian 37) are the best requisite skills for leveling other classes.

As indicated, getting HQ Vanya is multiple 50's or some serious luck. If I am using just my Weaver skill tree, getting HQ 1star is an accomplishment. Even Twinthread is a struggle without HQ crawler cocoons.

You'll most likely need a Lv 50 WVR, Lv 15 ALC, Lv 15 BSM, Lv 37 CUL (do-able without this), and Lv 50 CRP for you to ensure a 100% HQ from NQ mats.

Basically, to have a really good fighting chance, you want everything to level 15 and Culinary to 37.

Tricks of the Trade from Alchemist 15
Steady hand II and Hasty Touch from Culinarian 37
    Ingenuity from Blacksmith 15
    Rumination from Carpenter 15
Manipulation form Goldsmith 15 (needed to have a chance at 40-synths)
Those are the critical ones to the hasty-touch method.

Pop Inner Quiet, Steady hand II with hasty touches until 20 durability is left. Using Tricks of the Trade on "good"
Masters Mend II more steady hand II and hasty touch. Make sure you've got some CP left to do a great strides -> Advanced touch toward the end.
Ruminate, use Ingenuity and do synth moves to finish.
Makes sure you keep track of CP and how much your synths do per hit so you can get it finished.

Unless you are very unlucky with hasty touch and/or "good" procs it'll hit 100%.
Adding a couple level 50s can really help (Especially Carpenter 50 for BygBlessing...you can tweak it so 80-synths are always going to be 100%)

Rapid Synth at Armorer 15 might save you if stuff went really poorly
Waste Not from leather worker 15 can help a lot on 40-synths

Really it's just a matter of stats. you really only need tricks and maybe steady hands II (maybe). Of course that's highly luck based, so stuff like manipulation, bygrot, comfortzone, etc will help. And of course ingenuity for the synth.

It is quite possible to farm tricks on a long synth like 80/80, letting you completely tap it with basic touches. You really will get a bad string of normals, but with enough CP to compensate it's not that bad.

The thing is, CP comes with gear and gear comes with success. IF you can get 370+ cp, it's surely "tricks"-farmable.

Most people who have enough gear to 100% 2star will almost always have multiple craft classes...but it's very possible if not that realistic to do it without much cross-classing...

but it has almost always been a matter of CP.

First, CUL to 15 to get hasty touch. Steady Hands + Hasty Touch = free Basic Touch. They really help quality.

Next - get ALC to 15 for tricks of the trade which is the best CP recovery mechanism. 20 cp for any Good qualities.

CRP's lvl 15 Rumination can be a good life saver as long as you are using Inner Quiet. And from what I've read the lvl 50 CPR skill is essential for HQing 2star recipes like the Vanya set.

    I'd set out those priorities.
