Speed Run Dugeons

This is water under the bridge, an old topic that's been brought up 1000 times since the 1st week of launch.

Secondly, most of your target audience doesn't even check these forums.

I myself, speed run. But I do it with my FC, LS1, LS2, LS3, or LS4... etc... I haven't used the DF in over a month for anything.

IT might be water under the bridge, but it will come up all the time everytime when ppl start appreciating the game and ppl more then maybe it wouldn't come up as much OP.

Anyone forcing 'speedrun' on the group is 99% of the time the tank.

As a relic+1 sch with halway decent gear I feel like my gear does give the green light to the tank to be reckless and assume they can try to speedrun even if the DPS are undergeared.

Its kind of annoying, since I like to play with DF groups for a more chilled out experience with lesser geared people and dont want to speedrun.

As a tank, I have had two WP groups this week where the DPS wanted me to speed run pull. I never really do this and I guess I wasn't doing it exactly right or fast enough and they started having a conversation in party chat about finding a tank that knows how to speed run after the run was over. I told them that the fact I never do speed runs doesn't make me a bad player. They responded "I want 12 min WP runs." We didn't talk the rest of the dungeon.

My SCH friend and I (BRD) will alternate usually. One day we'll Speedrun sub 15mins, other days we'll exclusively DF together. Sure, the df parties can be bad (recently we had a mnk who broke all his gear mid-dungeon), but I enjoy helping others run WP much quicker if it was a full AF group.

It is just, ppl need to be taught, and if knowbody is willing to help or teach them in the game, then they will never learn. Sure the forum's or w/e help's but it is gtting out there in the field that get's you the exp not reading constantly do this, or this or this. So, just find by doing and action's do speak louder than word's.

I pull one mob pack at a time when in DF groups. It's slow and steady but less prone to screwups
