Are they going to raise the level cap or would we be informed of that before they do?

Also i'm noticing places around as i level up more and more, like gates of judgement and griffin pass in coerthas that seem to be suspiciously empty but are there for a future purpose, kind of like the wolves den which i just traveled to the other day found by accident.

Has the team indicated where the Crystal Tower would be accessed from or what part of the world it will be in?

They've given no timing for a level cap increase.

Wolves den was the PVP test spot in phase 4 beta while gates of judgement will probably lead to Ishgard eventually.

Crystal tower is already in-game in Mor Dhona, you just can't enter it yet (it looks really cool at night o.o)

There likely won't be a level cap raise until the expansion. We know for a fact in 2.1 there will be no level cap raise the big content is crystal tower which comes before Coils.

No, they're not going to raise the level cap and probably won't do it outside of a major expansion.

Every MMO has lots of unused places that are reserved for planned (or unplanned) future content.

The Crystal Tower can already be seen in Mor Dhona. The Wolves' Den Pier is in the game already because of the PvP testing that took place just before launch. However, because there's a summoning bell there, it's a nice place to hang out and craft

where in mor dhona exactly? i've been there many times but maybe i just thought what i was looking at was just part of the world design.

The most south-eastern point of the map in Mor Dhona (from the Saint Enioch research camp) is a long tunnel that leads to a strange, obviously artificial, door in fluro green, yellow and pink that is set at a strange angle (and encased in crystal).

The door isn't open yet, but when you get close to it, the game confirms the location as 'The Crystal Tower'. You can also see where this on the map by a large dark tower like graphic next to this location, although it's not yet identified as such on the map. That's as close as you can get to it at the moment.

They said they will raise the level cap with the first payed expansion = 3.0
