I just finnished the main story quest and really loved the journey now im gonna lvl up my other classes in fates and dungeons, I really enjoyed it and hopefully later on aswell.

Wanted to make this post cuz there is way to much negative responses to SE and im enjoying the game so i feelt like posting this to show my gratitude to them for making this awesome game.

Yea let us know how that goes after you ding your next job to 50. Mind numbing and soul crushing comes to mind. GL with dungeons that nobody does too, they wont increase xp till 2.1.

I felt like you did when I first completed the story. Now I cap my Myths by monday evening and dont have much to do until the next reset. (I'm 50/50/50 gathering too, crafting isnt for me.)

I do dungeons fine, and I'm leveling my third class. Guess I have more tolerance for punishment according to some or I may actually like *gasp* playing this game. Shocking! I know!

Leveling is already too fast, they should REDUCE xp rates IMO.

I too loved the story and am having a blast in coils. Are there things I'd change? Of course, but this relaunch was great, way to go SE! Can't wait to see what else you have in store.

The game is not that old new stuff coming soon .. and i enjoy grinding stuff .. my other char i use for crafting/gathering alrdy has 50 so i usally craft and play the market when i get bored.. i wont be able to do coil until ive farmed my DL gear

This is my 1st mmorpg and im on a ps3. I am not finished with the main story quest, but I'm taking my time and enjoying every minute of it.

Once I reach end game I'll see if I'll keep my sub. But in the meanwhile I'll play and hope the 2.1 patch will have enough content to keep me entertained.

Overall it was worth it, pretty noob friendly I think and I'm sure I'll return to the game and resub every once in a while when new content is released

I've been pretty sick and thus inactive.. Enough that I ran out of sub and unable to play.

But I'm better now and have been working on my own project, so I haven't had time to start playing again either, but I've noticed in some recent news how FFXIV was doing and felt compelled to come back shortly. (You can tell from my post count that I am easily compelled )

I played quite hardcore during the first months of ARR and even a bit of 1.0 (actually main reason why I've strayed away from coming back to the game now, that I want to work on my own games, and if i come back I'd play this game way too much ! ).

I'm glad to see FFXIV's success as you could tell while following the game that the entire FFXIV team (reps and devs) really put a lot of work into it both in time and passion (good to see things pay off, underdog stories <3 lol). 2~3 years is really such a short time to flip the table and start over again (specially an mmo).


Forums will always seem a bit negative since criticism even when constructive always appears negative, that and everyone's opinions will differ- but I wanted probably to be my last post in a good job team thread


So yeah, Good job~!

Hope people continue to work with SE on making a great mmo (Square Enix has been incredibly and pleasantly social since ARR's birth), hope to continue hearing good things about SE in the future.

The final story was epic and worthy of the FF name, can't wait for more moments like that Gonna be awesome.
