Are there any LS out there that do dungeon runs that don't mind as much if their Bard doesn't have all the best gear?

I am trying to get parties via Shout and Duty but it regularly takes me over an hour just to get started on a run for The Wanderers Palace. Which by then I am highly frustrated.

I was trying to get going on my Relic as soon as I could but was promptly told I don't have high enough gear to go through all the fights. So I switched gears to earning Tomes of Philosophy so I could get better gear.

That being said, I would love to join a LS that has room for me. I would join a FC but I already have one of my own.

How about you try using DF and also enable Japanese language? It might help with the long wait you are encountering.

I use DF, but I never thought about enabling other languages. That could fix the long wait. Well played sir! I will try that tonight.

That being said I did get into a server group yesterday and made sure to befriend the leader so maybe I can get in with that person more often. Now if I can only figure out how to get more dang drops that are useful to me

Check out my FC/LS thread. You can scroll through and read the various descriptions and decide from there, people have Contacts for a reason. If they refuse you, try again. Just getting into a FC/LS for an AK run or 2 isn't as beneficial as finding a like minded group to have fun with.

Oh I realize this. I won't get into a LS that I am not comfortable with. I mean it isn't real life but if I don't want to be accosted in real life then I certainly don't want to be accosted in a game.

I did manage to get 3 good runs in WP last night, 2 of which were with 2 of the same people. I will check out your thread.

Feel free to send me a tell too or add me to friends list ^-^ the fact of the matter is I absolutely abhor the notion of speed runs in anyway shape or form and have been looking for other players to connect with that either enjoy the same slower pace. As well with players that may want to do the content but feel forced out of it I guess you can say by the masses screaming for "everything now"

Look for me, the most anti-speed run or requirements WHM / Bard in Eorzea. I maybe Relic WHM #256,987 but yeah, not all of us want to treat the game as a rush or a second job~

I will try and find you tonight. I don't mind "speed" runs, and I don't mind "slow" runs as long as I get runs. I have decent gear for my Bard now, so I have started leveling up my lancer so I can get some abilities to cross over.
