Mainly because I like to have both sides of the argument given so that the mob isnt at the gate with pitchforks and torches. The people unaware of issues may jump to conclusions if they only see the whiner posts.

My guess is no, as the mere presence of the maint. is what people are ultimately whining about, no matter what reason is given, people would just find other excuse to whine about it some more.

I see that in eve all the time, no matter what the reason is and explanation given by devs for downtimes, people find a reason to whine.

Wrong. If you had bothered to actually read every post of mine rather than just jumping to conclusions from one, you would know a reason or an explanation is all I want. Make your wisecracks about hamsters and stuff, but if they just gave some sort of explanation, even if a vague one, it would be better than nothing.

I question them because I want to. You're absolutely right, I don't need to question them. The exact same way you didn't need to question me. I'm not sure if you meant the intelligence and curiosity part, or were being sarcastic. However if you meant it, you seem bright enough that I could say the same about you intelligence wise. So has your experience speaking to me given you anything useful? I highly doubt it. Has my replying to you enriched my own life? No, not really. Being inquisitive and curious is just human nature.

IMHO, you should be wise and learn what you should question in life. If a game's maintenance is something worth of interest for you, good for you. But if you think about it, ask yourself, why do you NEED to know THAT? Don't waste your intelligence and curiosity on something that won't give you anything useful.

Whether its a game or anything else "in life"( is that where we are, life? hmm ok.) you shouldn't be left in the closet about why a service you pay for is getting fixed. They can add "we can do w/e the hell we want, whenever the hell we want" to whatever ToS they want to, does not mean they should do that.

Omg another maintenance really late at night! BOO!!! How dare they make maintenance after peak NA times? I think this would translate into early morning in EU as well. So I guess you are just a handful of people whose work schedule sucks. Quick make a petition to change maintenance times into peak NA hours!

WHo cares really.. I rather have them fix the issues then wait 2-3 months for each big patch to fix everything. Besides, its from 9 am till 11 am in the morning for europe.. you should be at work, at school or a sleep during that time!!
