FYI, the conal flail move is only used when he "has eyes for someone". You don't have to worry about it otherwise.

It's "common" for healers to pull initial aggro on recently spawned adds simply because of how they work. There's always a chance you'll get a heal off at an inopportune time and grab aggro. This said, if you KNOW a boss spawns adds and you're either unable to or uncomfortable with stopping healing around that phase, make sure you have Shroud of Saints up to use in those situations. Also, run to/through your tank, so that the adds path towards him so he can pick them up. You shouldn't be -dying- to the adds in WP if your tank knows how to use Flash, but they may slap you once. If you're not chain-casting Divine Sealed Cure II's, your tank should be able to pull anything off of you that you accidentally grab with a wayward cure.
Thanks for all the tips everyone! Greatly appreciated, I've learned quite a few tricks.
I also have decided to work on my tank set and get some experience tanking...that way I'll be able to understand their perspective.
