Please let me play multiple classes.

In ANY other MMO I'd be free to gear/play my other classes as long as I put the time and effort in, but with FFXIV you can't do ANY of that. Why?

You can play multiple classes, in just the same you can in ANY other MMO and roll ALTS just like they allow, any they probably ALL have weekly caps/lockouts just like this game .. play ALTs.

Nope, I pay one fee for 8 characters per server in FXIV and 1 fee for 11 (or is it 12 now) in WOW, 1 fee for 12 characters per server in Rift .. I've made my point I think.

Huh? You do realise you can't use more than 1 class in Coil right? Why are you bringing it up? Congrats, you have the potential to clear T1-4, but you can't play it, why? No reason.

Yes, you can. Nothing stops you from changing classes depending on the turn / change every week. Nothing stops you from doing other content on other classes. The only thing that is currently an issue is the lack of high level content, and we should be getting more each patch.

who said anything about paying more? you don't have to play on the same server and even if you're "paying" more you're still paying less in sub fees then those "other mmo's" you referred to.

Nope, you can CHOOSE to play a lower sub for just one .. it just depends on how you view it and what your agenda is.

I have to pay more to do what I do in other MMOs, it's as simple as that and even then, that's incorrect because I have to pay more and then level mutliple classes for cross-class skills and Job requirements.

Game is so Anti-Alt it blows my mind.

And all of this just flies in the face of the mutliple-class on the same characters system, it's so badly designed it blows my mind.

On one hand the game says, "Go ahead, level multiple classes" and on the other it says "But remember, you can only use 1".

so if they remove the cap, and put it for each job, and you max all your jobs out, what will you complain about then? I'm pretty sure you will find something, ie "there's nothing to do in this game", "square give me god mode so I can do whatever I want"

also, you can get gear for your other jobs any coil run, you may have to give it to others because they need them or you lose the roll, or is that too hard because everything that drops should be yours to help your character

B - The current easily available gear (DL / melded I70) is more than enough for everything but T5.
C - Even in the current limited endgame, you can change classes between turns or weeks. It's not like coil forces you to use a single class.



The problem here is that you're simply considering that not being able to use the top tier gear on every class means you can't play every class, which is plain wrong.

You can't play more than 1 class, simple and you're just re-enforcing that. You can get your Relic and Full DL and that's it. That isn't going to change for months.
