ok.. this is a VERY stupid Qs, specially having a wtm lvl 37, following story and running dungeons... but what is what ppl call "group instances"?? the dungeon??

also main reason why i came here: as a fisher you get a lot of fish that seems to have no use; i read that you should keep the fish mark as legendary (indicated by * in the fishing log) because they might become important in the future even if they have no use now.. well.. my problem is i cant find where the * is .. any ideas? this is driving me crazy, my space is almost full and im either selling stuff that might i need to randomly fish again or keep it stuff that i should sell... lol.. *pulls hair*

ps if anyone on ultros and wanna help run Flox , will appreciate. im a healer, i listen, have run it like a lot times.. still no goodies .. lol

I can't really help you with the fishing question sadly (as I don't fish myself), but as far as 'group instances' are concerned, I presume these are anything that uses the Duty Finder, which can include dungeons but also includes Primal battlefields and Guildhests. These indeed require a party to do, and some are required to be completed to advance the storyline.

The legendary fish with the * are fish you won't be catching until you're level 50. I'd say first check to see if there's any recipes or leves that use the fish you fished up (You can see that information easily by searching at ffxiv.gamerescape.com). If it's used in a recipe in something, you can likely sell it on the market boards when you have a retainer. Or you can use it for crafting yourself, or turn them in at the leves for yummy xp.

omg.. thank you!!! yea, i being using gamerescape (awesome site) to figured if i should save it for my cul, send it in a moogle mail to x of my friends or just sell it in the market. But i was worry if i should just vendor all this fish with no use under gamerescape, was afraid they were the so call legendary .. but u sir have answer my question

to note though some stuff r missing from that site (e.g. one fish had no listed used there, and then appear as a supply GC mission) but nothing biggie, and considering how HUGE this game is, im suprise /amaze how much info they have this early

True, I'd forgotten about the GC supply missions. That's a little difficult to get information for, since not only does it change from day to day, I'm fairly certain the items asked for depend on your level as well. So, for that I'd say probably keep fish that's around your level?
