my dps spells don't use much mana.

Succor and ADL use a lot of mana - but am I seriously supposed to be spamming them?

I'm really confused that someone would complain I don't use my mana enough when I was under the impression that Scholars shouldn't really have mana issues :L

I would say probably just a misunderstanding of how your class works. So long as evertyhing is alive i don't see why its an issue.

I'd say that, too. SCH just doesn't have to deal with the mana drain that WHM do, by both having the fairies and so many DPS skills pulling none of our stock while also having Aetherflow.

Mana management, as I understood, was part of the challenge of being a White Mage, verses Scholar's need to properly direct and command the pet.

The lowest I ever regularly go is 50%, but that is when I'm not riding my Aetherflow countdown, spamming Adlo/Succor, Raising, and all around just wasting MP because I can. The only time I actually run out of MP is when I have to cast raise more than 3-4 times in a single fight, and at that point it just isn't my fault.

Then I Energy Drain the rest of my charges and Aetherflow again. Voila, back to over 50%.

Depends on the situation. If I'm using Aldoquium, Succor, and Resurrection a lot I can start dipping quite low, especially if people are taking a lot of damage. It also depends on whether or not you have a bard using MP song with you.
