Downloading Update Patches Extremely bad

I have Ports set up on the computer specifically for downloading that patches, But its just really bad. The download jumps up and down from 5 minutes to 4 hrs to download a basic patch. Is there another method to download or something? At one point I had 18 local Connections, but the download was completely frozen for about 15 mins.

It is. We really need a direct download updater here...this p2p patcher is terrible! >< A 300MB patch should be complete in 10~15 min, not 4hrs...

I cannot believe how bad the update had been. It's been over 5 hours for me. it's STILL updating as we speak... It's at 98% and just sitting there...

How come its could make me upload the info i've downloaded... but I can't download the update for crap.

You think your were bad. 05/23/2011 patch took me 10 hours to complete. SE please provide us another method to download patches. Or even let us downloading the patch in advance.

http://tehkrizz.net/FFXIV/downloads.php and seeing how i post this on more then one topic without a mod editing me over a few hours i guessing it save to post if i do get edit then i'll say this "If you don't allow us to use other way of getting your patch then you lose more people if you don't want people to use other way of downloading the patch then fix the issue or post the patch download yourself"
