Tips on how to make life for your party enjoyable (Noob guide)

Kunda here I know how hard is it especially after being new or jumping into another mmorpg that's just released. You've been through a few bad parties where things haven't gone the way it should... People ragging over one death, the ones that love to afk alot... your can't seem to hold hate on the tank and more... I'll take you through all these headaches that's plagued new players (Even XI Vets) and offer tips on how to make yourself look like a leader of your DF party just in case the Dark side of the rage tries to knock you off course :)

Event 1: "I'm the best Tank ever, my gear is all decked out and we should be able to run this without anyone dying because this run is all about me! I'm not even going run everyone through these fights. These noobs should know ahead of time!"

(Moments later your party wipes due to the inexperience group members)

Overconfident Tank: "OMFG!!! ALL You guys Freaking SUCK!!! Lmao! Going blacklist all you guys and Leave!"

My 2 cents on this: This guy focused too much on himself and usually when players make this mistake.. They're self centered and don't care about anyone else. Sure he might've had the best armor in the game but your nothing without your team. Remember this!!! Instead of insulting players because they're never done the run before, as a FFXIV Vet it's your sole responsibility to make sure you tell the young ones about succeeding in boss finals ahead of time. Take it a set further by encouraging everyone to do their best such actions come along way and you might even make some long term friends doing soo ^.~.

Event 2: "Heyy guys I'm Going need to Afk for 2 mins brb"

(5 mins later he comes back and ya get everything rolling again... for a good few mins until this happens again)

"Heyy you guys mind if I afk for one sec brb"

(15 mins later he comes back... party member ain't even mad one bit... you guys manage to trio for a while until you hit the boss fight. Your tank uses flash! The epic battle with Diabolos is on however you notice being a healer that the same guy that's afked a few times doing this run is sitting behind you doing nothing... Everyone wipes because you didn't have the dps to kill him before he used his finishing move to kill everyone in one hit)

My 2 cents on this: Real life can be quite a bigger adventure then FFXIV... You could be having an argument with your girlfriend... found out your cat died in a chocobo accident, or your boss wanted come over and talk to you about your epic job performance. Such things even distract me from the game as well however doesn't mean my party has to suffer on my behalf, if you know your going be gone for a long time simply tell everyone you have to go because of RL Events. Maybe in some cases you'll have to find a replacement no hard feelings. Whatever you do! Don't have the rep of being the random AFK.. No one will love you ever! if you do >.>

She'd probably thank me. The likely reason she stopped posting is due to daily limitations. The limitations are especially bad if you haven't hit level 50 yet. Like 4 posts a day, I think.
