    I use quick synthesis all of the time. Once you've hit lvl 50 in several crafts you no long need HQ mats at all, ESP for cooking where everything needs 6 ingredients, quick synth is amazing. I do it to set up 80-90 of each reagent so I can just macro synth my coil food whenever I've got free time here and there.

    Really, it doesn't need to be changed at all. If the materials are worth so much you're worried about breaking them, then manually synth them. Time input vs reward.
