I've learned my lesson. I'm better off synthesizing everything myself and take the extra time to HQ it. I'm trying to level up, and those HQ's give me up to 200% more EXP and gil during those leves. Screw Quick Synthesis; there more penalties than benefits to this system and should be upgraded or forgotten.
