I don't think we're getting dungeons with 1.18 because aren't they directly correlated to companies which are directly correlated to company leaders which are under "future planned" on the list Yoshi put up? I think 1.18 only promises with any certainty the initial adjustments to the battle system, so we'll definitely see auto attack then and then tweaks leading towards dungeons.

Well from the producer's letter X it says that the list outlines what is promised to be finished by the end of the summer and the implementation of a Rank 50 and a Rank 30 dungeon is on there and due sometimes before the end of the summer. Where did they say that 1.18 will have dungeons? we don't even get the specifics of a patch until patch day. Just curious, I may be wrong, but I'm not getting my hopes up - I'm sure we're getting auto attack with 99% certainty but everything else is up for debate.Things that are confirmed for 1.18.

Yea, maybe true, still worded weird like everything else SE writes up. I guess we'll see mid June, and I want dungeons as much as the next person but Yoshi did say that they want the battle system changes to take place before dungeons, patch 1.18 will hardly bring about those changes but will just begin to incorporate them and then work at balancing and tweaking them and adding to them imo but I hope I'm wrong and dungeons are in full swing mid June.

Honestly i believe they are going to get dungeons and auto-attack done, i could careless for those 2... the fatigue crap needs to get tossed out of here... FFXI while training i always stated man does it take forever to level.. lets just put it this way i'd rather have it the way FFXI was and take forever then a lock out period.. this fatigue system is dumb... once they get rid of the fatigue i garuntee A LOT more players would join back to FFXIV.Things that are confirmed for 1.18.

You pay for your game, and eventually will be paying for Monthly Subscriptions... just for them to limit on how far you can get to without being locked... I think its dumb..
But lets hope what all they said comes into play on the 1.18 patch

This means that balancing is going to take more time than usual, and so we’re anticipating a somewhat longer period between patches. Even if we break off some of the content and release it ahead of time in a 1.17b patch (which me might!), 1.18 will still go live sometime in mid-June at the earliest. Sorry for that.
