What we had before though was better than the incompleteness we have now.I like this topic also but listen this auto attack is just the first part of it they said that 1.19 and so on would bring the rest of the auto attack so take a chill pill and wait and see how thing turn out -.- even tho i like the game before the auto attack at least now i can use my JA without waiting for the bar to go up then when i have enough i just die -.-
I don't know that any amount of "completion" is going to help with this direction. There will still be less control in the hands of the player (which again, is a confusing choice), and there will still be nothing that separates FFXIV's method of interacting with one's environment from the rest of the available MMO fare.
That's not to say the old system was entirely revolutionary, just that it was dressed in a way I had appreciated. I hopped on again today, and honestly attempted to acclimate to this system. The result was just...boredom. Tapping "guard" every now and again, and simply waiting for TP to build for a weaponskill was boring. The idea that I, as a player, should sit and wait for the game to play itself for me and only offer my suggestions as to what should be going on when the game asks me to is just not appealing.
Anyway, I've said my piece here. Here's hoping it gets read, and there'll be more on the feedback board whenever I get around to compiling my thoughts.
