lose it's appeal? You do realize that almost every mmo uses auto attack...right? Even those that are still coming out...and remaining successful...

I would argue that the future releases over the next year and a half will emphasis more action oriented combat. SWOTR is the exception, not the rule... and I haven't heard anything that awe inspiring to judge that the game system will be a success, rather it will be successful because star wars nerds, just like final fantasy ones will salivate for dog shit if it has lightsabers in it.
