200 blisted

Delete the older names. I've found that while my Blist hovers around 50 names, if I clear out the oldest names, or names that obviously belong to accounts that got stolen rather than spam accounts (names that sound reasonable vs Shjgsj Jkjsk) then I don't encounter much in the way of spamming and still have room each week for the four or five new accounts I encounter over its course.

Yea n thats the thing. if i dont blist em its only a matter of time till they send another. I understand that quite a few may be hacked accounts bt truthfully someone out there is paying for the gill. n im sure they make enough to afford a $15 a month sub so they can keep making money. there r a few rmt nmes that i'd imagine could be hacked accounts but the majority r obvious scribbled names. some even make a half hearted attempt to try n make it tricky to decipher how its spelled. tho when a goldceo ??? comes through know lol. the idea of a world blist intrigues me tho. something where someone has been blisted a large amount of times to be suspended tho just like many things it would be open to abuse. somehow i dont see SE implementing anything in game for it otherwise they would probably have 2 sacrifice something else. tho i wonder where SE think they stand on the issue. do they think theyve got a grip on it or is it out of hand? theyve already admitted to always being 1step behind

What I would like to see is two different blacklists. We can keep the current 200-entry blacklist and use it for annoying players.

Then a new type of blacklist---a /rmtlist could be added with unlimited entries. Each type you add someone to the rmtlist, it not only adds the name, but it automatically reports the user.

SE has been improving their filters as well.. I maybe get one or two a day at most, but the tells I'm getting now are getting more and more unreadable (and I rarely see shouts anymore).. They may not be able to prevent RMT spam completely but they can certainly make it very difficult for these guys to function at least.

I'm surprised you still have shouts on. I have turned that off completely.

Since jumping on a legacy server, the rate of shout spam and tells plummeted, and the new filters have made it go from Blisting 5 players a day to hardly using it at all. I think I may actually have an empty list now. Whatever SE is doing now seems to be showing some results.

RMT will always be making new names to avoid b-lists. I just delete mine after a couple of weeks. I still get whispers mainly when I log in though.

For myself I only have to blist maybe 1 rmt /tell bot a day lately.

I am blisting more titan sellers than rmt lately but unfortunately se wont ban them

chances are the people that you blacklisted weeks or even days prior have already been dealt with, either in account suspensions or similar actions, the rmts themselves know that there is only a certain amount of time before a character most likely blacklisted by most people and they will stop using them.

You can probably start removing some of the names you've had blacklisted for awhile.
