Midlanders actually have it pretty good; I wouldn't swap the derplander face for anything else, though. With Elezen, Au ra and Miqo'te males I'd say there's only 2 good faces, the others just suck, and with Highlanders you're down to 1, maybe 2 at best. The thing is, the "good" faces for all these races are exceptionally good and quite customisable, but I'd like to see 8 facial options for each race/gender combo. Shouldn't be hard.

@Lauront God bless your words. That's the problem with extremely limited character customization in this game. Very few choices. I'm still praying that Yoshi & Co. will hear our pleas and add more faces, body details and face options to all races. Its just doesn't feel right when the options are so poor and limited. I'm pretty sure they can do that. Back to my prayers again.

At least the derplander face is not as overused (I don't even think it's overused) compared to other races. Some male Highlanders, most Lalafell and female Miqo'te look the same to me.

Yeah, the few "good" faces (which still is subjective of course), have enough diversity to create a different look, especially if you combine it with different hairstyles and eyecolors. But other races do have it worse for sure. Although some of the less popular faces can turn out very well, if you spend days inside the character creator (a thing I really like to do haha)

The least popular races like Roegadyn, Highlanders (might be only the females), and Elezen (might only be the females as well) which people seem to find unattractive (but I don't), you can really create some very attractive characters, while also being unique even with the limited character creation choices. I spend my time in the character creation every now and then, and I'd say every race have their own kind of attraction, and it's very possible to make them all attractive.

It's a shame very few people go through the lengths to try out other races, but I suppose Hyur does offer a good connection, Fem Au Ra and Miqo'te give the anime feel off for those that enjoy it... Roe, I may make an alt, for sure. They are so under appreciated, and they have hilarious animations.
