Why do all male midlanders pick the same face?

Of the 6 face options, there's only 3 good ones...and those 3 good ones actually look pretty much the same.
As for why not the others? Allow me to show you why:

Self-explanatory token-old-guy face.

Fetal-alcohol syndrome.

Smug A-hole. Also it's Laurentius' face, and screw that guy.

The last one isn't so bad, I actually think it's one of the better faces. Other than the first two, I don't really like the face that looks like Thancred's. Well, Thancred's face is actually okay since it's a unique alteration of the face type just like all of the Scions, but that face type you can use looks so sad or worried all the time.

I had that face before, I picked it first because the derplander face was overused at that time (I mean it still is but people started using the other face types more often, especially the PLD/NIN trainer one. Although it does make you look sad most of the time, I thought he looked more hardworking and determined than my current one.

...something sure impressed him then.

Wonder what he was holding there to impress more than fire, sweets, books and music.

Well, that face could look good still, but it's a challenging. Yours looks pretty nice anyway, and those scars make him look hardworking and determined indeed. I'd say your current one looks better though.

At least the derplander face is not as overused (I don't even think it's overused) compared to other races. Some male Highlanders, most Lalafell and female Miqo'te look the same to me.

By the way that was a really nice drawing, keep up the good work! Maybe I should speak for myself...
