Why do all male midlanders pick the same face?

Of the 6 face options, there's only 3 good ones...and those 3 good ones actually look pretty much the same.
As for why not the others? Allow me to show you why:

My FC mates didn't like my room, saying that it's quite worrying but I think it's cozy!!

That room looks like the Sharlayan Library, you're just missing the Orchestrion to play the smooth jazz tune. I also hope we'll be able to get the Scholastic Uniform from the new side quests...

Like Dinnertime said, there are only one or two good facetypes. I actually had a different one at the beginning but it changed later to make my character appear more mature - gotta grow inside an rpg you know.

There's actually only 1-2 faces per race that I actually like. Luckily you can make them distinct enough using different facial features...though additional options in the future would be pretty neat. Though what I really want is some proper Garlean armour to complete the look.

As for Balmung? It's very active and in my opinion it's quite a bit friendlier than other servers since it has a large population of role-players who typically tend to be more outgoing when it comes to player interaction. High end content, however, can be difficult (but not impossible) to find a group for. Plus the server is active at pretty much any hour. I haven't encountered much lag either despite being in England.
