As of 10:43pm today I have successfully finished the very lengthy grind to max chocobo rank.

Fun Facts to Rank 10 (I started at Rank 5 and 1/4):
14,652 mobs slain
49 Hours of nonstop killing
172 Gysahl Greens used
80,000 gil in repairs

Do you have to have all the points spent in the healer tree or do you get to choose which barding based on the classes you have leveled as long as your chocobo is rank 10?

You have to have all points spent in the tree, meaning you can currently unlock only one of the job sets.

Unfortunately, I and others like me have already spent 1 or more points in multiple trees locking us out of obtaining them. Fortunately, the devs have said they're looking at a reset option, which would not only fix our issues, but I believe allow everyone to eventually earn all the bardings with enough effort.

I got 10th rank for Attacker, it only give me Dragoon Barding link here. I guess BLM isnt in game yet or there is that nobody know for sure yet.

Is there 48-49 creature in those zone? and pack together or too spreading?
I went Nataln (Coerthas) for myself both solo/group. It's awesome for me to grinding.

Congrats on 10th rank! I regretted for not picked healer and went attacker instead. Healer probably look the most cool out of all
