Rank 10 Chocobo Completed! (Healer Tree)

As of 10:43pm today I have successfully finished the very lengthy grind to max chocobo rank. Is this a first for Behemoth?

My pal Zeks has really bonded with me during the time together as well as many people I've encountered on the server who have killed Garleans and Quartz Doblyns alongside us.

Fun Facts to Rank 10 (I started at Rank 5 and 1/4):
14,652 mobs slain
49 Hours of nonstop killing
172 Gysahl Greens used
80,000 gil in repairs

I got mine upto level 4 and then stopped. And boy this must have taken you a while. Makes me wanna do it. I got 2 more characters that I need to get to level 50 lol. Mine is a defender though.

Also is it the same xp increase from rank 4-5 as it is from 9-10. I'm guessing not and it gets alot harder per rank ??

The best leveling tips I can give you is just do it with friends, your kills per minute will increase and make it go faster and it's a lot less monotonous. If you are solo I'd suggest a really long playlist and just sort of zone out while you kill stuff. I also for the sake of my sanity only looked at my exp bar when I went back to repair. That way I would always see at least SOME progress versus checking it constantly. I noticed on Rank 9 when I was about to finish my bar was completely full and it still took me 18 mobs in order to get that final pixel to hit rank 10.

The exp number definitely shoots up with each rank though 7-8 and 8-9 are about the same in terms of needing about 3000 lvl 49/50 mobs per rank there. Rank 9-10 was about 5.5k.

Rank 10 gives 55 SP in total which is enough to max one entire tree. I'll edit in a SS when I log in later tonight.
