Damage Parcing

Is there a program that allows you to view the damage dealt, healing done, damage taken, etc? World of Warcraft has World of Logs or even Damage Recount. Would be nice to instill a sense of compitition for the dps in the group. Competing dps = more damage done to boss. How do I get something like this for FF14?

10 characters. the minimum amount of characters (letters, spaces, periods, etc...) that you need to type in order for the forum to allow you to make a post. just a minimum required post length. so when the post is too short like one words, people usually add "10 chars" to meet the requirement.

"very well" is relative, it works amazingly compared to where it started, and compared to what you would be looking at without a parser, it still runs much smoother than logrep does for me, but accuracy it isnt perfect, still misses a few things and DoTs still arent perfect. that being said, it is actually a pretty darn good estimate.

maybe for your class it does, this is what it does for summoner. and im seeing SMN getting criticized for their performance and using the parser as the basis.

parser doesn't track shaowflare
parser doesn't track dots extended by contagion (it's as if you don't have any dots up during the extended time)
parser doesn't track empowered dots (only counts them as normal dots)
parser doesn't track crit dots

and most importantly

parser doesn't track BANE or any kind of multi dotting! if you bane, parser will just track single target dot and won't count your AoE dot hits.

on a single target dps, the parser ignores a total of 1405 potency per minute. which could be around 60 dps on your current gear, it is ignoring a LOT more on multi target/aoe fights.

oh, yeah summoners have all kinds of issues with the parser. It counts when i multi DoT though on my dragoon as well as my black mage. nothing ground based like shadow flare counts (archers are hurt as well). Honestly it should really just be summoners who are hit hard by the issues with the parser :-/.

We probably wont see actual accurate parsing for summoners until we get addons. They said 6 months after launch, we are at what, 3? :-/
