Titan HM: dungeons in general

Today, after 3 tries a TitanHM party fell apart. It was like they were conditioned to do it.

I joined to help a FC member. Everyone was dodging everything. But on the third try 1 person died and everyone dropped except me and the FC member. In the beginning they even talked about everyone gets 3 strikes. Now, a lot of people in my FC have been stuck on Titan for weeks.

I beat him in 2 days, with my third group. It took about 3 hours and 20 tries. It took practice and we won. But now, people have been stuck on titan for weeks.

You will not beat Titan HM on the 3rd try with a pug group. If you are doing this you are falling victim to a very negative trend in the game and on this forum. I don't know how else to say it or in a way that is more convincing. You have to commit time and discipline to things in life and a few things even in games. Have respect, meet some people, work hard. If you do that you wind up finding out that you can reward yourself.

What I don't get about Titan HM is that you can clearly tell people have been stuck on it for months, and yet apparently people still immediately ragequit when you don't beat it on your first try. It's one thing if you can't get past Heart phase and decide to not waste your time, but I've seen reasonably promising attempts that people still ragequit by guys who clearly have never beaten this encounter.

Now where did I say it was about you? You said alot of people in your FC have been stuck on it. I'm sure, 'alot' and 'small group' consists of more than eight people.

You are not applying the rule the right way. Your supposed to apply 3 strikes rule to everyone in a very experienced PUG group, where you shouted for "Very experienced only". 3 Strikes does not mean 3 wipes. It means people that die to plumes, landslide, or bombs for more than one attempt in a row, which causes wipes. Naturally, using 3 strikes on a PUG of unexperienced people will result in everyone leaving. Its use is to get rid of people that don't own up to what they say they are when they answer your "Very experienced only" shout. It's usually one or two people that get weeded out at a time till you finally get a full group of people that don't die, or there is only one sucky DPS that dies. If a healer dies twice in a row to the same thing. They should be replaced post-haste; guaranteed no-wins if your healer dies constantly. At least half of your group should not be dying in the first attempt past heart phase. 3 Strikes on an unexperienced PUG... that won't go well ya think? You can only beat Titan with Experienced only PUGs and usually one or two unexperienced DPS that die after heart in worst case scenario (which should have been weeded out but joined on your winning attempt after replacing other strike outs.) It may take more or less than 3 attempts, but you will make progress.
