The mob has to be in the range when your cast ends, not the animation. I farm with it alot and it happens that i start casting it and my cast ends with the enemy in range but then he starts moving out. So i hit it and stun the mob but the second holy wont affect him because in the meatime of the animation the mob moved away and was actually stun out of range. I don't know if it works has intended, but that's how it works now.

Yeah the animations throw me off with Holy.
Although in a way I like it, Swiftcast + Holy then I just run away out of the mob to go back to a distance and despite being a good few meters away it still hits them all.

Swiftcast > Holy for moving mobs. Just as the person above suggested.
Holy probably misses because healing gear comes with no Accuracy. That is a stat, and it is actually important.

I would recommend editing your opening post with the top line saying Solved. This is branching into the topic of Holy and Accuracy.

Then maybe you can explain to me why Stone 1&2, aero 1&2, thunder, repose etc have never ever missed for me. Not once.Holy probably misses because healing gear comes with no Accuracy. That is a stat, and it is actually important.
^To people saying "Low accuracy", the only time it's reasonably probable to miss with Holy is during Coil.
Do people REALLY believe it's an accuracy issue when I miss against mobs 20+ levels below me??? Sheesh!
