Hacked accounts not returned still (1month 1week)

Several accounts that were hacked and then banned still have not returned after 1 month and 1 weeks time. The tickets were elevated to the investigation team, and we have still got no replies back. The customer support staff says there is no way for them to talk directly to the investigations team, and we will have to wait.

Rift and wow would often get your account back and restored in less than 24 hours time. At this point the people have been without their accounts for longer than they even got to play. Square's website being compromised was likely the cause of the info leak.

I initially wrote a rant post, but instead changed it to simply ask... When will people get their accounts back?

SE's customer support is garbage, don't expect much.

Please look forward to it. Call their NA headquarters and bug them. They'll just love to hear about how long you've been waiting to have this resolved. If they tell you to call customer support, tell them you've been doing that for over a month. If they tell you they can't help you, then call back every single day.

I'm sorry to see you're having so many issues with this, I remember back in FFXI the process was long and required you to fill out a form and have it notarized in order to get your account back and prove you were who you said you were after your account info got compromised.

We have not even got that much here. We could jump through hoops if they offered them, but as of now we have not even got hoops...
