Linkshell Message upon logging in Do we have it? Can we have it?

In FFXI we had /lsmes and we could leave messages about events or whatever. Why do we not have this? If this is already in the game I haven't seen any of my LS's use it so sorry.

One of the differences from XI is you can change the name of the LS at will. Pretty handy for a coil LS to be able to stick the next run time in there for all to see.

So there are differences, right?

Plenty, plus FC's will be come more relevant with housing and PVP. A linkshell will just keep on being a chat channel...
