Linkshell Message upon logging in Do we have it? Can we have it?

Forgive me for asking if this is already in the game.

In FFXI we had /lsmes and we could leave messages about events or whatever. Why do we not have this? If this is already in the game I haven't seen any of my LS's use it so sorry.

If this is not in the game it should be added. A linkshell message was a great way to communicate.

Yes FFXIV has this. For FFXIV, however, this would be editing the Free Company's Company Board, on the Free Company Screen ingame. I don't see a way to do this purely through text commands, though (due to Linkshell in FFXI becoming Free Company in FFXIV).

Yes Free Companies can but I'm not asking for that. I'm Asking for Linkshells.

Not everyone likes to use FCs to get stuff done. I have a linkshell that actually gets CoB done vs the FC I have (that is suppose to get it done) that doesn't have the people who can do it.

Good but ... the FC has a limit of 512 members and a LS has 128. The chat channel is the restrictive one ...

And that's kind of lame since my social LS - IE the ones who job it is to be social and have fun - is hovering around 120 members and we're periodically having to purge people.

False there is no difference between a FC and a LS atm exept a chest

oh and some lolbuffs that are pretty bad
