Example of Every Quest in the Game

(Person 1 goes out into La Noscea and defeats two Bees, then returns to complete the Quest.)

Person 2: Ahh, so you've defeated the Bees. You don't have to say anything, I can tell by the look on your face. Ahh yes, those Bees have been causing a lot of trouble for our apple pickers, but you, Adventurer, will be remembered as a true saviour of the Apples. I was once tasked to Guard the Apples from the Bees back before the days of the Calamity. Ah yes, it was very satisfying to protect the Apples from the Bees. We must protect the Apples our the townsfolk will have to resort to other, less nutritious fruits during the frigid season.

( 5 Minutes Later)

Person 2: And that, Adventurer, are why our Apples are so important. Go now, bring this letter to the Shopkeeper in Gridania and tell him I said you could have a free Apple.

I swear... Every time I do a Quest or something, I have to read through about 10 minutes of meaningless Dialog of some complete random stranger's life-story that has no influence on the story whatsoever. A couple of times I'd just be clicking rapidly through it all saying, "I can't understand your intense Pirate-style langugage..." or "OMG, I don't care!"
