Description:

The glow effect on Holy Shield +1 is not currently scaling correctly across the different races. The glow on the Roegadyn version of the shield is considerably smaller than the shield itself, creating a really ugly effect, while the glow on the Lalafells version of the shield is about twice as large as the shield itself.

Back on topic: I posted this in the bug forum a while ago, didn't even realise it was moved in to this section - how strange!

I posted this while playing as a Roe but have since switched to Miqo'te whose shield glow is slightly larger than the shield (nowhere near as relatively large as the Lala shield though) and I really quite like the effect.

Then again, I haven't actually seen a completely working as intended holy shield +1... would like to see an example if anyone has one.

Since it appears too big on Lalafells and too small on Roes, I'm assuming that it would look roughly "as intended" on Midlander Hyur.

I think it fits exactly along the shield's edge as either Male Miqote or Male Hyur, don't remember which

That being said, i think the Lalafell on looks great.

The glow on Lalafell is what make +1 Holy Shield awesome. That's the only reason I told my tank to +1 it instead of buying AF2 gears.
