There is no way to turn this off, you can only switch it to some other button.
Never fails when Im trying to dodge something or run...it gets clicked..Get it OUT!

They sure have allow us to freely customize our controller. I really want to remove the auto-run button or map it to a different function like "save current cam location".

Good news! :

"Can you please make it so we can turn off actions for the L3 and R3 buttons for the PS3 controller?"

[This has already been implemented on the development version of the game, so please hang in there until patch 2.1.]

What I'd really like is to be able to click R3 or L3 to use Limit Breaks!

I hope they allow us to assign the "standard actions" like auto attack, sprint, limit etc to those button.

I d like the sprint, when dodging at worse I would run faster
