    FATE's in Dungeons?

    So I was thinking....to make dungeons more....appealing to run more than once....why not add FATES to a run? I mean the FATE does not have to appear every time you run it, but have a percentage as to when it does appear. I think that would bring the dungeons some more life than just get from point a to point b.....although that is the point I suppose. But one thing that I liked about WoW...well more vanilla WoW, was that the instances felt alive and the dungeons had stories in and of themselves. I like ARR, and I like the dungeons....and I know they are making them more viable in 2.0, but this is just my 2 cents.

    Interesting idea. But speedrunners would just completely ignore it anyway, which could lead to tension between party members who would want to do it.

    I don't think an instanced dungeon would be the right place for a FATE.
    But it would be perfect for an open-world dungeon.

    I would rather see behom and odin in a fate instance dungeon than what we have now. All the pc's and ps3 I play on do 150% better instance than open world.

    Ya, that to. But really my idea is more to add variety to a dungeon. But a leve quest could do that as well. Like you take a leve and it spawns when you go into a dungeon. It's along the same lines. I like that idea as well. As for speed runners, you make their time worth it. To my understanding the speed runs are to gather tomes and what not, so make that a reward for completing the FATE or leve. Just like you get seals in the open world FATE's. Really this is just to make the dungeons more varied. Diablo 3 despite all the crap that went on in that game, kept some of the instances fun and worth replaying to see all the random events that could occur. I am not saying that you need to go to that extent, but that not every run you make would be the same. Keeps it fresh somewhat. And sure there will be many of us that will see every option there is and be like been there done that, but there are some FATE's that are fun to replay.

    Fixed it a bit.
    We need more open world content, not less

    Maybe doing it that no one can enter the blue circle after 50 people are already in the circle? And everytime someone die, someone else can enter it. and whoever died get send automatic back to the homepoint.

    FATEs in Dungeons sound great to me ( Since it's not 30 people attacking 1 mob) and the FATE itself would hopefully have more of a thought process when completing them. As long as the FATE itself is engaging, have to use your brain a little and the EXP isn't over the top then personally, I would welcome this addition!
