its completely stupid that this only comes from a leve mob.... what the hell?

Meh, I've gotten 6 of them in 9 tries.
thats just completely awful, 9 leves for 6 items? both the level 45 alc leves need this crap so i guess ill just make a ton of lanolins instead.
My suggestion, and I just got done with this myself: Gold Needles. Everything is easily farm-able (if not available on the market boards). There's a leve that gives ~35k for Gold Needles at 45 that is not repeatable, but is extremely accessible.
Don't get so caught up in repeatable leves that you forget there is a whole set of leves that aren't repeatable, and almost as good.
eh the repeatable ones are better and i think i still have over 100 karakul skins
"Better" is subjective. You get notably more experience per leve with repeatable turn-ins, sure. But you get considerably less experience per item. 120k for 1 item vs 200k for 9 items. And then there's the matter of convenience or ease-of-completion. Clearly Pudding Flesh is a problem item, which seems to me like it'd make that particular repeatable leve worse than its single-turn-in counterpart.
however the level 40 repeatable one is super ez plus i still haven't gotten "one with ether"
They really ought to re-evaluate this and put some pudding mobs in the open world. Of course if it's handled badly it'll turn into the problem that karakuls and diremites were.
If you want to do repeatable leves, I would recommend sticking Hi-Potions and then move onto Paralyzing Potions. The mats are easy to get and it can be completed in 5 crafts.
The only thing you need Pudding Flesh for is the level 45 quest, which you can also make a profit from since Mega Vitality Potions sell for a lot and you only need 1 for the quest.
