My Story:
On October 8th of 2010 I bought Final Fantasy XIV after watching a review series by The Yogscast, and despite repeated sources of negativity from across the internet. The next day I had finished creating my character Aluendalee Kor on Fabul, and on my journey out to Bentbranch I was invited to join a Linkshell by it's master Rushica Swiftclaw. Despite the games (major >_>) flaws my first day cemented my love for the game. me and this linkshell would do many things in that first few months (the run to Mor Dhona from Gridania through Coerthas was my favourite moment.) Alas, for various reasons, most of the members left, and I was left alone. Not wanting to spend time alone on a server where I once had so many friends, I made a decision that didn't come lightly, I switched servers and started anew in Kashuan.
On the 12th of December of the same year I had created my new character, of the same name, on Kashuan. Unlike Fabul I was alone on Kashuan for many days. The first person I met contacted me through the videos I was making at the time, and I join his Linkshell Finalfantasy Reunited. I played for awhile longer but in Christmas of that year I ended up taking a month long break from the game. Shortly after I returned in February 2011 I found out that FFR merged with another linkshell called Fallen Angels, this shell was where I met most of the friend. Though as 1.0 goes on another batch of people left the game for some time, but through those friends who didn't leave I met many more people, like Lady Crim, Seraphic Knight, Rezzer Oxide, Momeki Odgerel, Zettai Ryouiki, Aura and Akane Masaki, Bailee Sancta... hell this list could very well go on for ever, and joined many other linkshells, like Dawn Breakers, The Gillionaires, and The GRID(my first true end-game Linkshell). As it turned out I had made two worlds full of friends here (this went well past the merge with Trabia to make Hyperion)
I would never have the need to relocate out of fear of being alone this time. Many great moments happened on Hyperion, as time went on and the servers went down... through Alpha and Beta of A Realm Reborn, through to release, my place in XIV was like cement. and I have no plans to leave any time soon :3
