Hi there, I need some advice on what gear i should be trying to aim for, in terms of upgrades... I don't know how to post my profile..
I have both vanya hat and chest, dl belt, allagan gloves, spruce shoes, and all dl acc and pants are ak only reason is i keep seeing people with ether mytho pants or dl pants and im confused which is better and why? i know that the mytho pants has better stats overall but lower crit hit on it than the dl pants so if people could give me a good idea on what would be a good upgrade it would be real nice thank you...

The first piece of DL gear any SCH should get is the DL pants, simply because of the 27 CRIT (good buffs all around but the CRIT makes the piece). The pants should be one of the last upgrades to Mythic set due to mythology's very slow acquisition process. DL pants are perfectly fine. When comparing the two themselves however, you only lose 3 CRIT, but gain 9 more VIT, MND and double your PIE. It is an upgrade, but not near as drastic as many of the other pieces. That is the unfortunate side effect to mythic upgrades is simply the time it takes to get even one piece.

crit, and crit all the way, you have the best heal in the game for a single target, but only when it crits.

I'll find the detailed post later but stacking crit or spell speed is really a preference. Stacking one over the other you are actually going to gimp yourself because the max crit rate we can get on our gear is around 15% I believe. (I'll find post later). Personally you should get myth pants first because they drop from Turn 5 coil. Everything else you shouldn't really need myth pieces. All your other gear drops from coil 1-4 and I think its a waste of time. I spend my myth on my monk sub class. With two healers in full darklight and +1s we had no problem healing turn 1-4 with ease. I saw no reason to spend myth prices if I can do all content without it. Only piece might be another ring. But again...not needed for any current or future content (at least in next 4-5 months)

All of the crafted gear is better than DL with either stat bonuses or flat out def/mdef (Vanya ,Rose Gold,Astral, ect) and takes about as much dungeon running to get. With the exception of the DL pants... those are actually fabulous for SCH and easily obtainable. Since Allagan gear requires a relic, a coil group , a drop and an uncontested lot... I would just put that on the to do later list and focus on what you can get easily with philo tomes.

Only thing I don't agree with is that, even though you should be able to do some damage, your damage is bleh and I would honestly switch the ACC melds for healers to VIT/PIE.

yeah i know im suppose to get crit as one of the main stats the thing is i just dont know which upgrades would be worth it or not.. cause the allagan head has no crit and neither does the af2, the af2 chest has crit but the allagan has none, and both dl pants or af2 pants would be an real upgrade just hard to decide which would be better since i have enough mythos to buy the pants and something else or the chest and head piece combo.. its like so hard to decide and i have no problem healing 1-4 of bc... acutally reason why im asking is we are on t5 and really trying to down it so i wanted to get peoples advice on what to really upgrade and also i was thinking of changing my accessories to crafted ones for the hp that you need for t5...

Just restat 15/15 vit mind. Don't waste money on gear you don't need.

Assuming you already have Relic+1, as this should be your first or second Mythos purchase. Definitely don't wait any longer than 6 weeks (300/week to get two 900 pieces)

As I mentioned before, DL pants are perfectly fine for a while, and probably one of the later upgrades to 90. If you have enough Mythos to get multiple pieces, going by numbers I would start with the Argute body, and go for Allagan head. Allagan and Argute head have the same stats, so save your mythos for something else.

Hands are another peice to wait for Allagan instead of relic since relic has Spell Speed instead of the CRIT on Allagan.

Accessories though is where a lot of your Mythos purchases should be since there is so much CRIT on them. Putting some HQ Rose Gold or Astral peices in there too with VIT materia wouldn't be too bad of an option either if you feel you don't have the HP pool you should, though you could just restat like what Aikota mentioned.

It all really just comes down to how much Mythos you have, how much gil you have, and how long you can afford to wait on certain peices.
