My first name is a Persian name derived from Sassanid kings. It was the last dynasty to rule over the Persian region before the Muslim invasion.

My last name is borrowed from the extremely brilliant and insightful Hannah Arendt. She was a political theorist that fled from Germany during World War II, eventually settling in the United States. Her work regarding the hows and whys of Totalitarianism are considered to be very important. If you've heard of the phrase, "the banality of evil," she is the one who coined it. She is, in my opinion, one of the most awesome people ever.
