A Small gripe

Me and my FC members were having a conversation about the Egi's ( the summons ) We hate them . OMG do we hate them . We were talking about when we get Shiva or Ramuh whats it going to look like . I can see it now Ramuh a lightning crystal with a beard i mean WTF really . We could not understand the design choice for this . FFXI Summons looked epic compared to what we have here and that's using outdated PS2 yes PS2 hardware . We were like why didn't they ( SE ) just copy the XI summons make them smaller and give them some polish ? Anyone have this conversation ?

oh I agree with you on this, I hate the look of the Egi's, they dont even look half as nice as the summonables in FFXI do which I find sad because the Primals you fight look awesome. but alas they said this was intentional because of some lore they didnt fully explain.

Spose they should have a quest for summoners to do what the Ultima Weapon did and just eat the Primals whole in order to summon them fully.

They COULD have made them small and it would have fit the story just fine . Or made them like half and half by this i mean make the upper half look like the summons and the bottom half like the way it is now . It would have worked . I don't mind them being small but my god there hideous looking lol . ( lets be honest the "Fits the lore" Excuse is to try to justify the bad design i think )
