It is definitely a close race and you can't go wrong with either (assuming the materia stat caps are equivalent for each, I do not have this knowledge).

Honestly I think the RG Circlet is better, simply because SCHs have little need for PIE, and DET will increase our curing potency, if only so much. Honestly, It comes down to where the stats cap at, and what materia you plan on linking. Of note though, there is no difference between NQ and HQ CRIT on the circlet, so you are down 2 CRIT assuming HQ for both. Again, it all comes down to the materia cap.

I need a head piece but the cheapest possible for the best results lol
Both need 9 items from the tomes but the visor needed for the circlet can also be found on a mob (4% drop) so it could be easier to make

For melding I have no clue what is better out of the 2 yet. Need something I can take to the coil, that's for sure.

having trouble deciding on my next upgrade

i've got my +1, gloves dropped for me last week, and bought my heros ring

i was leaving the body as long as possible incase it dropped in coil, but if that doesn't come this week maybe that should be my next?

if i craft astral accessories how much vit. materia can i meld to it?

It's fairly simple - to get into Coil you need Relic+DL and that's it. That will get you through T4.

From there, Twintania is a coordination, HP, and DPS check. As such in order to pass you must several pieces of EQ with the AF2 level of vitality.

If you are a scholar, pick up your AF2 pants first (Allagan is a T5 drop). I personally picked up the AF2 helm and chest as well. The helm is the same as the Allagan version and I want the critical rate on the chest as opposed to Determination from the Allagan chest.

Picked up my relic body and it is an upgrade of over 200hp bouncing up from AF body. Definitely a great piece. Not quite the difference in curing potential compared to going from Garuda's book to Relic +1, but it gives me a little more room for error when doing DF Titan runs.

So it seems most of the Allagan Pieces have Determination, where the Relic pieces have Spell Speed or Crit. What do you guys think would be more beneficial? How much determination equals 1 point of mind? I was thinking crit would probably be more beneficial than Determination, though i don't know how much determination you need to make a difference. So i'd like to see some info one that, as well as everyone else's opinion!

I decided to go with Rose Gold Circlet for head and Myth body to start (then probably myth leg as next upgrade)
What materia should I put on the Rose Gold Circlet as a SCH? I want to keep that hat as long as possible until i upgrade the rest

What about WHM? Been reading that it's usually recommended to get Myth Pants (T5 for replacement) and Ring because it take a while to replace them?
