Why do people say fairy out heals a WHM? I find those statements ridiculous. There is zero way a fairy will heal more than a WHM. Embrace heals for a lot less than a Cure or Physick and the AoE HoT is weaker then a WHM AND requires 2 CDs to be useful AND has a one minute CD. I just don't see how a Fairy can come close. Is the WHM dpsing? lol

Actually, the only people I hear complaining about SCH are SCHs who want their fairy to do 100% automated healing.

SCHs are damn near idiot proof, they're much easier to manage with MP and threat, their fairy will continue healing while they move, and they can mitigate a lot of damage on AoE big hits. (Ever seen the difference between an Earthen Fury with a Sacred Soil + Succor and without? Yeah)

I've seen all of two people complain about SCH, and they were both SCHs who wouldn't use rouse ever, would never coordinate fairies (Two Selenes, always, ugh), never busted out anything but energy drain, etc.

Only thing SCH can't do as well as WHM currently is burst heals. Everything else SCH is better at. :P

Burst heal, AoE heal, regen and burst dps/aoe dps :x but rest of your post was good!

Actually we've got that too, some bind Aldo or Physick to Embrace so they hit the same target... pop rouse if you're into over-kill. ^-^

I've never had a problem with Scholar heals vs WHM heals in 4-person as long as both are competent.

As a White Mage, Scholars are my best buds, it's all very synergistic.

In any party situation I'd prefer WHM/SCH over 2xWHM or 2xSCH, they have a good synergy... 2xWHM can get very cure spammy in some instances, though since I main WHM I've never gotten a chance to see 2xSCH, so there is some situational Bias for you :3

I just have to ask for 2xSCH parties does Fey Illumination stack or no?

The best healer i have met in game, he is a sch not a whm

They cant mitigate damage,

Stoneskin, regen for damage smoothing

they cant increase their healing potential on the fly

Divine Seal, Presence of Mind

when things get mobile they have a hard time healing

Swiftcasted Medica/M2, Regen
