Yoshi said that you will be able to resell land deeds to other players.

Unless the RMT sellers are prepared to take significant losses, they simply aren't going to be able to sell the almost unlimited housing spaces for more than they are being sold for by the game itself. No one will buy from them. Well, unless you count those people that don't realise you can buy crafting basics from guild suppliers for next to nothing.......

Who's claiming RMT are going to go into the real estate business? Not me. I was just correcting their statement that land won't be re-sellable among players. =P
RMT folks sell gil, not houses. Though I can imagine that players selling their entire accounts might use the housing plot attached as a value-added thing to bump up the price. Some plot locations are 'nicer' than others, going by the video tours, so I'd imagine demand might be higher for those.

fair enough, I missed that.
But ya as Baneus said, this is a non issue anyway, as you aren't going to be able to sell the land more than what you bought it for since people can just buy it off the game for cheaper.

The biggest issue with housing.... We have to wait 6 months to get our own!

max price is capped. the price can only go down (every 6 hours), not up
I thought when they introduce housing they said you can only have 1 house for each city. So even if the RMT buy 3 house. People just need to not buy from them and wait for more deeds to buy.
and they will need to work more on FC ranks
Q: What are the requirements to own a house?
A: You will need to increase the rank of your free company to the point where you have permission to buy a house. After this you just need to buy the deed to the land and house.
so i imagine the same with personal house. We might need to get a certain rank to buy deeds

even if you cant resell land is there anything stopping them creating a free company, ranking it up with bots or whatever then switching leadership of the FC to the person buying?
