Coil is normal raid, there's a story quest after you beat it. And to be honest it won't be hard with CT gear I assume.

Because the game was designed from scratch within 2yrs? Name another game with that kind of turn around. FF has never been a big PvP game. Not in 11, and wasn't in 14 1.0. I love PvP, but it isn't the reason I came to this game. Also, WoW has had a shitty PvP setup since it's inception. DAoC or bust IMO. Maybe AC2 or WAR Online.

Well, I won't say WoW is the pinnacle of fantastic PvP. I only say it's a critical core part of the game without which, even WoW with many years or content would suffer from the loss of.

We don't have many years of PvE content. We have a narrow end game with 2 dungeons, some primal bosses and a hardcore raid. Taking this long to get PvP is clearly hurting the game.

If PvP is what kills this game, it'll be a first in PvE centric game history. If you honestly came to FF14 for PvP then you're in the wrong game. If you knew anything about the game prior to your arrival you'd have known it wasn't a focus to get out first but in 2.1.

If you guys really want pvp hardcore. There is only 1 game that is really pvp king out there. Asheron's Call. Thats right. The graphic may be not pretty but the gameplay/pvp is much superior and makes u forget about the graphic because the gameplay is soooo much fun!

The release of 2.1 was originally planned for November.
Yes, it is coming a month later.
Yes, Crystal Tower was meant to be here at launch.
Why was Crystal Tower postponed?
Because it was harder than Coil with ilvl 80 gear while Coil has ilvl 90 gear.
But guess what, they're fixing it.
After 2.1 guess how long you have to wait for 2.2?
6 months ...
Get accustomed to grinding and leveling other classes.
