    Coil is not made for DF (as its not made to be accessible to the mass audience)
    Coil is endgame which is tailored for an Endgame FC

    FC's are not suppose to be social... so that is the community doing it wrong use linkshells to be social and FC for endgame

    I believe the way coil is set up is fair and it makes sense

    Just look at Titan DF and tell me what is the success rate on that... now if coil is harder can you imagine how the community will be in DF?

    If you want to do Endgame get use to joining an Endgame FC that is how MMO's operate this isn't new

    hi, i also think that will be better if the lock out concerns loots only(like 2 or one per week ) and not partipations , on that way ppl wont be full allagan in one week and they ll be able to help their fc mate without any issues just to spend their time , the same way we are farming ak/wp withj our mates ..

    that will be also more fun because it feels so depressive for some unluckiest ppl to loot absolutely nothing 3 weeks in roll .

    I didn't miss the point, without lock outs you could run over and over until each person in your team gets some gear. This is something the devs do not want, just like they don't want it to be a DF instance. It's absolutely set up so that only experienced and geared teams will be able to consistently clear the content. They would have to water it down quite a bit for a DF group to be able to complete.

    Even if you took out the lock outs but kept a lock on gear... how many people do you expect are going to help others

    I won't and many others because plain and simple doing it once is stress enough especially when people are still progressing

    Rubbish, coil is designed for 8 people preferably in a static group, it doesn't matter where they come from.

    What the OP needs to do is put some effort into finding people to run with on a regular basis. Whether that's via shouting in Wineport or through an FC or LS it really doesn't matter.

    Some people just enjoy playing the game.
    To be honest I wonder how and why you keep playing if it's that stressful.

    "Loot lockout" doesn't really work... you would have 7 people 'selling' the 2 lot drops to anyone that could open the instance and they would then clear it for them.
    Yes there is a gear difference between hard-core and casual players. The people that can build a party every week for Coil will have more gear, than those who can clear some / struggle in coil, and even more than those that still haven't even beaten their primals.

    I understand that some people (like me) believe FC's are who you raid with. That isn't stopping you from making a linkshell to build your static group that chats over that and does stuff together and lets you stay in the FC with your friends. There is also nothing stopping you from leaving that group later to go with your friends. You just can't participate in BOTH groups together for COIL only. We don't know if there will be a lockout for Crystal Tower but it will let you bring groups together as 24man content

    Yeah, it takes a good deal of time for a group to get up to speed from scratch. Coil can be very, very tedious if it's a fresh group.

    I'm actually at the point now where I don't really care about Coil that much at all until it gets more content, as it stands:
    - It doesn't lead us anywhere
    - The drops for me are pretty shitty in turn 1 and 2 (and random)
    - It's trivial to cap Myth elsewhere

    Really dont see the issue with it being in the duty finder, if its level of difficulty remains the same what does it matter if a random group beats its head on turn 1 or 2? Those is endgame focused FC still progress further and get the gear.

    I get its meant to be "exclusive" but that really is the worst way to design content, make it hard and make it challenging thats great, but dont lock out the majority of the playerbase simply because they are more casual than the hardcore raiders.
