Yes it is possible. Depending on what you're playing on you will have to look at your controls.

For me since i am on PC, i use the 3rd mouse button ( scroll button ) to zoom into FPV. There is also a key you can press that does it which i don't recall. Hope that helps.

IF your using a ps3 you hit the l3 button I do believe to go into first person mode then L1 select will hide all the icons and stuff, followed by a L1 start to take the picture... For the P.C. im not sure of the zoom option is for it but you can hit the scroll lock to hide the icons and then the print screen to capture the image...

The only way to take a screenshot without your character present would be to indeed zoom in the camera into first-person perspective, which as I play on the PC version I'm unsure how to do that on the PS3 version via control pad.

However, the default key for the PC version to cycle between 1st and 3rd person views for keyboard control is the 'Home' key. Also if you want to remove all menu and interface overlays temporarily, press the 'Scroll Lock' key to hide them or bring them back.

I play on the ps3 and pushing L3 or R3 will put me in 1st person view,not sure for pc users though srry

I was so used to scrolling in with the mouse to FPV in other games I play, it kinda threw me off when it only zoomed in as far as the back of my character's head, hehe.

Using the Home key works, thank you.

There is an option you can switch on that will allow you to scroll all the way in to first person view.

This works for the gamepad on pc as well.
