Option to maintain camera zoom distance

In the Letter from the Producer LIVE Part IX, it is mentioned that one of the reasons players may be having issues with Titan is that they do not have their camera zoomed out enough.

However, currently the camera zoom distance is automatically decreased any time the player runs "backward" (toward the camera). The player is then forced to continually reset his camera distance; this is a minor annoyance on PC (where you can map a button to return to default camera position) but very problematic on a controller.

Can an option be added to maintain camera zoom distance, even when the player runs toward the camera?

I think I should clarify the above by mentioning that this effect only happens in Legacy movement settings.

On a related note, it does not happen in Standard movement settings, but in that setting you cannot run backwards (towards the camera) at full speed; you always backtrack at a walking pace. Allowing players to move towards the camera at fullspeed with Standard movement setting would also help resolve this issue.

I found this pretty annoying too and I'd seen the same complaint elsewhere on forum.

So far this is what I try to do to cope with this problem:
First use Ctrl+End to save an optimal (wide) camera angle; Whenever the camera zoom in after moving and I lost the sight of battleground, I press F(Focus/Facing on target) or simply just cast a spell like usual, and then press End to go back to the saved camera angle.
Some might think this is just unnecessary and they rather just adjust the camera, but I personally like this way most.

That solution isn't available with a controller (or on PS3 at all).
