WoW popularized the quest-driven, GCD-combat, gear treadmill MMORPG. Which is exactly what we were given for FFXIV: ARR. Spouting a series of stupid one-liners doesn't change the fact that the game IS in many ways a copy of the mold that WoW immortalized, and to think otherwise is simply being in denial.
